According to the Indian Bureau of Mines, the total production of tiles in India in 2021- 22 was 1.25 billion square meters. This represents a growth of 10.8% over the previous year. The top five producing states were Gujarat (512.9 million square meters), Rajasthan (225.9 million square meters), Andhra Pradesh (149.1 million square meters), Tamil Nadu (100.6 million square meters), and Karnataka (72.8 million square meters).
